QR 1020 Four Score

The words, “Four score and seven years ago,” are considered part of one of the most important and powerful speeches of all time.  On November 19, 1863, at a dedication of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Abraham Lincoln spoke to a country divided.  In a mere two minutes he summed up true patriotism and what a country should be as a whole.  Equality for all; “a government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”.  His words ring as true today as then; a testament to strength of the United States and its people.
