Whether it was a trip to my grandma's house as a little girl or a stop for ice cream after a spin around town in the summer, the idea of taking a break and taking a drive on a Sunday was a magical part of my life. My family continued this tradition when we moved to Europe, a Sunday drive could mean the rolling countryside of Germany or France, or a ride on the tram in Brussels for Belgian waffles. I even married a man who loved a Sunday drive! We stop into bookstores, have lunch outside or just explore our neighborhood to see what’s new. The idea is to take one day to slow down, enjoy the life around you and be refreshed. Sunday Drive – the collection – is about those excursions. There is a word-print that includes things to do on a Sunday and there are sweet flowers, butterflies, bikes and trees that are always a regular sight on my drives. The navy, red, green, aqua, gray and cream color palette is gorgeous and the batiks – oh my, they are amazingly soft and the new scallop print might be my new all-time favorite!
