Lyda Rose is the name of the shrub rose I planted last year in my garden. One morning, as I ventured out into the garden, she rewarded me with a beautiful bouquet of white and pink flowers. They say the first blooms are the best, and Lyda was certainly sharing her beauty with me on that special morning. She reminded me of all the wonderful garden surprises to come, and a fabric line was born! My family room is also painted yellow, and it’s one of my favorite colors. Now, I’ve included yellow in my fabric line! Yellow even takes center stage in my newest quilt, Sunshine Lane.
